The injury was severe, needing immediate attention and sutures to close the wide cut. A concerned local posted about Brownie's condition on Facebook, and thankfully, rescuers from Paws and Claws Sanctuary quickly came to his aid. Brownie was rescued on a Saturday, and the search for urgent veterinary care began. Unfortunately, the clinic of our regular vet was closed, so we rushed around in search of a vet who could help. We reached TLC, a clinic known for once providing round-the-clock care, but the vet on duty could not take on Brownie’s case. While it was disappointing, we understood that the complexity of Brownie’s injury made it challenging.
