Two New Rescues, One Mission: Healing with Heart

Our rescue journey continues with the arrival of two new souls in need of love and healing. Meet Cookie In the video shared below, you’ll see Cookie , a newly rescued dog now under our care. She recently underwent the amputation of her front right leg due to a severe injury. Despite the pain she has endured, Cookie is showing incredible strength and spirit. She is currently recuperating and adjusting to her new reality with resilience that inspires us every day. A Long Road to Safety The second dog, still unnamed, was finally contained and rescued in El Nido. She is now en route to Puerto Princesa for urgent medical attention. Like many of our rescues, her journey to safety has been long, uncertain, and filled with challenges. But she is finally safe, and her healing begins now.

Update on Bella, the Brave Survivor

Bella, the dog who suffered a severe injury to her mouth, is now in Abueg, recuperating. Despite the open wound on her left side, she is miraculously doing well—eating and adjusting to her condition. Thanks to immediate veterinary care, her torn jaw and cheek were treated as best as possible. However, due to the severity of her injury, skin grafting may not be an option, similar to Tabby, the dog with a chopped nose. For now, Bella remains under careful monitoring, and we continue to pray for her full recovery. Her resilience is inspiring, and with the love and support from Paws and Claws Sanctuary, we are hopeful she will overcome this challenge. Let’s keep our fingers crossed and send Bella all the love and healing energy she needs! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "Love in Every Treat 🐾❤️" To follow: Watch as Ms. Vickee Canovas, the heart and soul behind Paws and Claws Sanctuary, shares a happy moment with the ...
